What You'll Do8
- 1Serve as the subject matter expert for SPEA automated test equipment, handling setup, operation, and maintenance.
- 2Diagnose and resolve complex test failures and equipment issues using root cause analysis across HTOL, HTRB, and accelerated stress testing.
- 3Develop, modify, and debug test programs and fixtures for SPEA systems, ensuring performance and traceability.
- 4Conduct burn-in and reliability tests, including temperature cycling and environmental stress screening.
- 5Perform electrical, optical, and mechanical testing on devices, using oscilloscopes, DMMs, curve tracers, SMUs, and power supplies.
- 6Design and assemble specialized test fixtures and automated test systems for new product introductions.
- 7Document test results, environmental data, and configuration changes in accordance with FDA and aerospace quality standards.
- 8Maintain compliance with ESD controls and safety protocols in the lab environment.
Requirements10
- 15+ years of experience in electronics testing or maintenance, with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- 2Hands-on experience with SPEA or similar automated test equipment, including programming and debugging.
- 33+ years in semiconductor, microcircuit, or high-reliability electronics testing.
- 4Proficiency with oscilloscopes, DMMs, curve tracers, SMUs, and signal generators.
- 5Experience with burn-in testing (HTOL, HTRB), temperature cycling, and environmental stress.
- 6Ability to read schematics, assembly diagrams, and technical specifications.
- 7Skilled in soldering for troubleshooting and hardware rework.
- 8Experience with C, C++, Python, or SPEA scripting languages.
- 9Strong documentation skills for traceability and compliance with FDA and aerospace standards.
- 10Ability to work in an ESD controlled environment and follow safety protocols.
