Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a PT ENDO/GI Tech to support gastrointestinal procedures and patient care. This flexible position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment assisting with endoscopic and diagnostic evaluations that improve patient outcomes. Must be available Thursday.
What You'll Do7
- 1Prepare procedure rooms with necessary equipment and supplies ensuring all tools are sterile and ready for use
- 2Assist physicians during gastrointestinal procedures by handling instruments managing equipment and maintaining a sterile environment through proper aseptic techniques
- 3Operate and troubleshoot medical imaging devices used during procedures such as endoscopes and related diagnostic tools
- 4Maintain detailed documentation of procedures equipment sterilization and patient interactions to support accurate medical records
- 5Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and uphold high standards of aseptic technique throughout all procedures
- 6Support patient positioning comfort and safety before during and after procedures while demonstrating compassionate care
- 7Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to facilitate diagnostic evaluation processes and ensure seamless workflow
Requirements7
- 1Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to gastrointestinal procedures
- 2Familiarity with medical terminology used in endoscopy and diagnostic evaluations
- 3Experience with aseptic techniques to prevent infection during invasive procedures
- 4Ability to operate medical imaging equipment associated with GI diagnostics
- 5Basic understanding of anatomy related to the digestive system for accurate procedural support
- 6Prior experience assisting in diagnostic evaluation or endoscopic procedures is preferred (Olympus tower exp Bowie and ProVation software)
- 7Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely
