Endoscopy Technician - GASTRO/ENDOSCOPY
Overview
Capital Health seeks a skilled Endoscopy Technician to perform GI endoscopy procedures on all general endoscopy cases. This role involves supporting the interventional endoscopist and ensuring high-quality patient care across a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in ERCP and bronchoscopy while maintaining efficient room turnover.
What You'll Do11
- 1Assist physician and RN with endoscopic procedures as directed
- 2Maintain organized field and clean procedure rooms
- 3Transport patients safely while ensuring privacy and comfort
- 4Perform basic troubleshooting for equipment and instruments
- 5Adhere to clean techniques and report unsafe practices
- 6Mix decontamination solutions following MSDS guidelines
- 7Restock endoscopy rooms and complete assigned tasks thoroughly
- 8Obtain supplies and equipment before each case
- 9Transpose specimens as directed and dispose of waste properly
- 10Collaborate with co-workers and maintain effective rapport
- 11Follow safety standards for hazardous materials handling
Requirements8
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2High School diploma or equivalent
- 3AHA BLS certification
- 4Six months training in endoscopy
- 5Experience with ERCP and bronchoscopy
- 6Ability to work independently in fast-paced settings
- 7Strong attention to detail for equipment maintenance
- 8Experience with high-level disinfection protocols
