Overview
Own a caseload of psychiatric patients via telehealth, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and prescribing medications for a clinician-led behavioral health company. Collaborate with a team of therapists and other prescribers in a remote setting, with autonomy over your schedule. PMHNP license required, with opportunities to expand into multiple states. What You'll Do9
- 1Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments via telehealth, diagnosing mental health disorders and developing individualized treatment plans.
- 2Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, monitoring efficacy and side effects in accordance with state regulations.
- 3Collaborate with a team of therapists and other prescribers, attending monthly staffing to discuss patient cases and clinical topics.
- 4Provide evidence-based care, integrating non-pharmacological interventions such as therapy referrals and lifestyle recommendations.
- 5Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) documentation for all patient encounters.
- 6Participate in virtual clinical conferences, attending at least one per week for the first 90 days, then one monthly thereafter.
- 7Stay current with psychiatric research, best practices, and telemedicine regulations to ensure high-quality care.
- 8Build rapport with patients in a remote setting, fostering trust and adherence to treatment plans.
- 9Adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback, utilizing outcome measures to guide care.
Requirements8
- 1Active PMHNP license in Massachusetts, with willingness to obtain additional state licenses.
- 21+ years of clinical experience in psychiatric care preferred, including diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders.
- 3Strong clinical background in psychopharmacology and familiarity with non-pharmacological interventions.
- 4Solid computer skills and proficiency with EHR systems and telehealth platforms.
- 5Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for patient interaction and team collaboration.
- 6Ability to work autonomously while adhering to ethical and legal standards of care.
- 7Time management skills to handle a flexible schedule and meet productivity goals.
- 8Commitment to ongoing education and participation in clinical conferences and staffing meetings.
