You will own a full patient panel of adult psychiatry cases across North Carolina, delivering evidence-based care via telehealth. Our model combines hospital stability with private practice flexibility, backed by administrative support and psychiatrist consults. You'll join a team of elite PMHNPs and psychiatrists from top institutions. This role stands out through genuine clinical autonomy and a focus on quality over volume.
What You'll Do7
- 1Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments for conditions like depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, and bipolar disorder, including mental health, medical history, and risk analysis.
- 2Develop and execute personalized treatment plans, integrating medication management and brief psychotherapy in collaboration with other providers.
- 3Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care through telehealth, ensuring empathy and respect in every interaction.
- 4Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications following evidence-based protocols and using objective diagnostic tools.
- 5Document patient encounters and coordinate care using our best-in-class EHR and e-Prescribe tools.
- 6Participate in case reviews with peers and psychiatrists to refine clinical skills and foster continuous learning.
- 7Stay current with novel therapeutic techniques and integrate them into practice to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements10
- 1Active, unrestricted license as a PMHNP in North Carolina.
- 2Board certification as a PMHNP through ANCC.
- 3Active DEA registration.
- 41+ years of professional experience as a PMHNP.
- 5Commitment to a minimum 1-year tenure.
- 6Comfort providing remote care via telehealth.
- 7Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication management skills.
- 8Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- 9Proficiency with technology and electronic health record systems.
- 10Dedication to patient-centered, compassionate care.
