What You'll Do6
- 1Examine each patient, take a detailed medical history, and chart all medically important findings in their records
- 2Read test results, interpret data, and make diagnostic suggestions based on those results
- 3Explain test results and expected health outcomes clearly to patients
- 4Prescribe medication or therapy with physician oversight as part of a larger health plan
- 5Work closely with nurses, physician assistants, and physicians to formulate a full, comprehensive treatment plan
- 6Manage psychiatric care for patients across all age groups, adapting to diverse needs
Requirements6
- 1PMHNP or PA-C with Psychiatric CAQ certification
- 2Current TX license and DEA required
- 3Experience with all age groups
- 4Proven ability to prescribe and recommend psychotropic medications in a psychiatric setting
- 5Bilingual Spanish is a plus
- 6Strong team-player mindset and adaptability
