Provisionally Licensed Therapist, Child & Adolescent Behavioral Health
Overview
You will own a caseload of child and adolescent patients, delivering evidence-based therapy in a collaborative outpatient setting. You join a team of 100+ clinicians supported by full-time billers and schedulers. You will use EMR daily, with no paper charts and no IMCANS. This role offers a generous signing bonus and a 4% match 401k, plus a collegial environment focused on clinical excellence.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build a caseload of 20-25 child and adolescent patients within your first 90 days, using CBT and other evidence-based modalities.
- 2Deliver individual therapy sessions, completing documentation in EMR the same day.
- 3Collaborate with psychiatrists and nurse practitioners on integrated treatment plans.
- 4Participate in weekly team consultations to review complex cases.
- 5Use outcome measures to track patient progress and adjust treatment plans.
- 6Educate families on diagnosis and treatment strategies, empowering them to support their child's care.
- 7Adhere to Illinois licensing board regulations and LifeStance clinical standards.
- 8Coordinate with external providers, schools, and community resources to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements8
- 1Hold an active Illinois license as LPC, LSW, or ALMFT (not in process).
- 21+ year experience providing therapy to children and adolescents.
- 3Demonstrated skill in CBT, DBT, or play therapy.
- 4Strong documentation skills, with ability to complete notes in EMR efficiently.
- 5Ability to work onsite at our Chicago, Illinois clinic.
- 6Passion for delivering evidence-based mental healthcare.
- 7Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- 8Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical standards.
