Overview
This role owns a full-time therapy caseload for children and adolescents with autism and other behavioral health needs at LifeStance Health Edgewood Clinical Services in Chicago. You'll work in a collegial, modern outpatient setting with full administrative support, including billers and schedulers, so you can focus on clinical excellence. This W2, fee-for-service position compensates between $115,000 and $135,000 and includes a signing bonus, full benefits, and 4% 401k match.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build a full-time therapy caseload focusing on children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders, using evidence-based modalities.
- 2Diagnose and treat a range of mental health issues in an outpatient setting, adapting interventions to each patient's developmental level.
- 3Collaborate with families and caregivers to create treatment plans that are practical and effective, ensuring measurable progress.
- 4Document clinical encounters accurately and timely using the latest digital health technology, maintaining compliance with Illinois licensure standards.
- 5Coordinate with the in-house billing and scheduling teams to optimize patient care continuity and reduce administrative burden.
- 6Drive positive therapeutic outcomes by applying evidence-based practices and measuring progress against goals.
- 7Ship high-quality care within a fee-for-service model, aiming for a productivity target that aligns with the compensation range.
- 8Participate in weekly case consultations and team meetings to support a collegial work environment and shared clinical knowledge.
Requirements8
- 1Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical psychology, with a valid license to practice in Illinois or in the process of obtaining full licensure.
- 22+ years providing therapy to children and adolescents, with experience treating autism spectrum disorders.
- 31+ years of experience in a fee-for-service or private practice setting, managing a full caseload.
- 4Proficiency in evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT, or ACT for child and adolescent populations.
- 5Demonstrated ability to work independently as a therapist, with strong diagnostic and treatment planning skills.
- 6Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms for documentation and digital care.
- 7Commitment to diversity, empathy, and collaborative care as part of a team-oriented approach.
- 8Current CPR and first aid certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
