Overview
As a Post Doctoral Fellow at LifeStance Health, you will own a patient caseload of adults and children, delivering evidence-based care in an outpatient setting. You will join a rapidly expanding behavioral health team with 5+ years of clinical experience, supported by full administrative staff and modern telemedicine tools. This role offers a flexible schedule, a $58,000 stipend, a signing bonus, and uncapped earnings after your fellowship. You will also gain access to EPPP prep and in-house trainings to accelerate your licensure.
What You'll Do9
- 1Carry a caseload of adult and/or child patients, conducting intakes, psychotherapy sessions, and diagnostic assessments using DSM-5 criteria.
- 2Design and execute assessment batteries for complex cases, including cognitive, personality, and neuropsychological testing.
- 3Write comprehensive psychological reports with actionable feedback for patients and referring providers.
- 4Provide supervised psychotherapy sessions, applying evidence-based modalities like CBT, DBT, and ACT.
- 5Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and therapists in weekly team meetings to coordinate care.
- 6Document patient progress in Epic EHR with accurate and timely notes.
- 7Participate in peer supervision and in-house continuing education to refine diagnostic and treatment skills.
- 8Take on a leadership role in your cohort by mentoring junior fellows on testing protocols.
- 9Drive your own patient scheduling and follow-up to maintain a productive clinical practice.
Requirements8
- 1PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology from an APA-accredited program.
- 22+ years of supervised clinical experience with adult and/or child populations.
- 3Completion of all doctoral coursework and internship requirements.
- 4Experience with psychotherapy and psychological testing, including test administration, scoring, and interpretation.
- 5Proficiency in report writing and feedback delivery.
- 6Eligibility for an Illinois post-doctoral license (or ability to obtain one).
- 7Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- 8Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous learning.
