Overview
Lead provider contract management for primary care specialist and ancillary services in a fast-paced environment. Oversee analysis completion implementation and follow-up while building positive relationships with providers and internal stakeholders. Drive project recommendations and maintain departmental initiatives.
What You'll Do12
- 1Identify eligible providers meeting network and member requirements
- 2Conduct face-to-face and telephonic outreach to providers for contract initiation and credentialing material follow-up
- 3Ensure contracting processes align with departmental policies procedures and regulations
- 4Review managed-care contracts verifying language and rates against established parameters
- 5Facilitate credentialing processes ensuring dual-party contract execution and proper filing
- 6Act as subject matter expert for provider contract configuration within claims payment systems
- 7Provide expertise on contract templates responding to interpretation requests
- 8Prepare documentation for RFPs readiness reviews regulatory audits and contractual reviews
- 9Develop and maintain standard pricing grids fee schedule crosswalks and performance reports
- 10Attend weekly manager meetings discussing project status and contracting efforts
- 11Communicate provider trends to management promptly
- 12Complete ad hoc reports and projects within assigned deadlines
Requirements3
- 1High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2Four years of healthcare contracting provider relations business development or provider business office experience required
- 3Bachelor's degree preferred may substitute for portion of experience
