Project Manager, UxS
Overview
ProteQ seeks a skilled leader to direct the Expeditionary Support Facility supporting Naval Special Warfare uncrewed systems. This role oversees personnel logistics training maintenance and vendor coordination ensuring mission-ready support.
What You'll Do6
- 1Develop and manage plans schedules budgets forecasts and cost controls reviewing invoices and financial reports managing logistics training small-craft operations and facility upkeep
- 2Supervise ESF personnel and coordinate vendors suppliers original equipment manufacturers and government stakeholders acting as primary customer point of contact providing updates on project status performance risks and priorities
- 3Lead project reviews and technical discussions covering cost schedule technical performance risks and corrective actions identifying operational and project risks developing mitigation plans and leading issue resolution
- 4Prepare and deliver required reports briefs memoranda after-action summaries and future-planning documents managing transportation storage accountability and tracking of critical assets ensuring project quality contract compliance and adherence to federal state local industry and company requirements
- 5Coordinate with NAVSEA program offices Navy Warfare Centers OEM personnel and NSW commands as required to meet project needs support laboratory and field testing including event planning coordination execution data collection analysis and test reporting oversee training curriculum development and delivery providing ESF tours and capability briefs travel within and outside the continental United States for training maintenance oversight meetings and other mission requirements

Requirements16
- 1Minimum of ten years of progressively responsible supervisory and leadership experience
- 2Experience with U.S. Navy and/or commercial maintenance programs including operations maintenance and sustainment activities
- 3Demonstrated experience developing submitting managing and tracking budgets financial forecasts and associated cost requirements
- 4Experience preparing formal reports presentations and executive-level briefings
- 5Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint as well as Microsoft 365
- 6Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated commitment to teamwork collaboration and transparency
- 7Self-motivated highly organized capable of leading multidisciplinary teams to achieve measurable results
- 8Experience supporting or managing small-craft operations
- 9Experience managing and coordinating with vendors suppliers and other external partners
- 10Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance
- 11Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in project management
- 12Project Management Professional PMP or equivalent including Defense Acquisition University certifications
- 13Experience with uncrewed systems including UUVs USVs or UASs
- 14Familiarity with Navy maintenance programs including Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual 3-M Quality Assurance and submarine maintenance equivalents

- 16Prior experience working with military uncrewed systems; NSW EOD Submarine or USMC UxS preferred
