Project Manager I Industrial Construction
Overview
Dennis Group seeks a Project Manager I to lead industrial construction projects across the US and Canada. You will own the project lifecycle from design to start-up while supporting client relationships. This role demands leadership and technical application. What You'll Do27
- 1Assist in managing projects from planning through commissioning including developing key success criteria for each project and ensuring the success criteria are achieved
- 2Develop RFI Prepare purchase/work authorization
- 3Maintain client SharePoint site
- 4Manage in-house and consulting design teamwork product
- 5Establish design criteria; reviewing design and construction phase documents
- 6Handle permit code and regulatory approvals
- 7Create preliminary procurement plan preparation of bid packages bid tabulation writing purchase orders and subcontracts
- 8Assemble and evaluate potential project bidders
- 9Develop small engineering services proposal
- 10Fairly and professionally manage bid process
- 11Maintain Outstanding Items Needs list
- 12Prepare monthly reports
- 13Determine permitting needs
- 14Update project forecasting tool monthly
- 15Review and approve supplier invoices and client billing
- 16Develop and maintain submittal and RFI processes
- 17Facilitate food safety risk assessments
- 18Organize construction trades and administering subcontracts
- 19Manage project budget and expense approvals
- 20Administer contract and change order administration
- 21Supervise equipment installations
- 22Coordinate design team on-site support activities
- 23Close-out project records and documentation
- 24Interface with client work in facilities and construction sites
- 25Utilize MS Office CAD Navisworks MS Project SharePoint
- 26Research project management best practices
- 27Support talent growth within organization
Requirements5
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Construction Management or Architecture
- 33+ years design-build General Contractor experience
- 43+ years MEP industrial construction projects food and beverage
- 53+ years building construction scheduling estimating safety
