Project Manager, Cybersecurity & IT Programs - Agile Waterfall
Overview
Lead cross functional cybersecurity initiatives across IT and business teams guiding projects from concept to delivery. Manage lifecycles using Agile, Waterfall, or Iterative methods for secure solutions on time and within budget. Collaborate with stakeholders, align security requirements, and drive risk mitigation and governance while communicating complex concepts to non technical audiences. What You'll Do9
- 1Build project plans and Charters and ensure alignment with security objectives
- 2Design and approve SDDS and technical documentation to guide secure implementations
- 3Lead governance, risk, issue and dependency tracking across multiple functions
- 4Drive stakeholder communication and change management artifacts including adoption strategies
- 5Mange deployments, UAT approvals, and rollout plans across blended teams
- 6Scale projects through effective budgeting forecasting variance analysis and capacity planning
- 7Own status reporting to executives and sponsors ensuring clarity and precision
- 8Guide vendor progress and statement of work development to meet cybersecurity goals
- 9Foster collaboration and serve as a role model for teamwork across IT and Business
Requirements13
- 13+ years experience in a similar role
- 2Experience managing large complex IT projects with internal external and labor/non labor components
- 3Extensive knowledge of project management best practices including waterfall agile SDLC methodologies and tools
- 4Excellent leadership skills including coaching development and leading a diverse project team
- 5Proven ability to engage and develop relationships with executive sponsors and stakeholders
- 6Experience with project cost management and resource capacity planning
- 7Strong Business Process Analysis and Mapping skills
- 8Experience implementing change management approaches for projects
- 9Familiarity with Energy Industry is a plus
- 10Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science MIS Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience
- 11PMM training prior to assuming role and ongoing training per year
- 12PMP Agile certification such as PSM PSPO a plus
- 13ITIL v3 or v4 a plus
