Overview
Own project scheduling, task management, and deliverable tracking for an enterprise portfolio under the guidance of Enterprise Portfolio Value Managers. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, drive milestones, and ensure alignment with strategic goals. This contract role offers hybrid flexibility with 3 days onsite in Vienna, VA, and a long-term engagement. Unlike typical PM roles, you will gain exposure to portfolio-level governance and value management practices.
What You'll Do7
- 1Manage project tasks, schedules, and deliverables under the guidance of Enterprise Portfolio Value Managers.
- 2Apply basic project management principles to support planning, execution, and monitoring.
- 3Coordinate with stakeholders to track progress, identify risks, and escalate issues.
- 4Maintain project documentation, including timelines, status reports, and action items.
- 5Facilitate meetings and communicate updates to project teams and leadership.
- 6Support resource allocation and capacity planning across multiple initiatives.
- 7Ensure compliance with organizational standards and governance processes.
Requirements7
- 12+ years of project management or coordination experience.
- 2Working knowledge of MS Project, Excel, and Jira.
- 3Understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- 4PMP or CAPM certification is a plus.
- 5Ability to pass a background check including criminal, credit, and fingerprinting.
- 6Strong organizational and communication skills.
- 7Hybrid work model: 3 days onsite in Vienna, VA and 2 days remote.
