City Light & Power seeks a skilled Project Manager to lead large-scale construction and utility initiatives. The role involves coordinating teams managing projects on time within budget while ensuring alignment with client objectives. This position emphasizes technical expertise and operational excellence.
What You'll Do12
- 1Coordinate project team personnel and resources
- 2Enhance relationships with clients engineering staff and consultants
- 3Compile financial performance reports
- 4Oversee cost control and change management systems
- 5Attend and lead project meetings including progress pre-construction and pre-award sessions
- 6Develop site logistics plans with Project Superintendent
- 7Prepare trade contracts and bid packages with Estimating Team assistance
- 8Coordinate cross-departmental compatibility with CLP goals
- 9Oversee procurement processes through Purchasing Department
- 10Track and balance resources across multiple concurrent projects
- 11Set up QA/QC procedures and conduct quality inspections
- 12Collaborate with Safety Director to enforce corporate safety protocols
Requirements11
- 1Five to seven years of project management experience in construction or utilities
- 2Prior experience with CLP may substitute for project management background
- 3Bachelor's degree in construction management engineering or related discipline
- 4Proficiency in understanding blueprints specifications proposals and documentation for time cost labor analysis
- 5Strong analytical and organizational capabilities
- 6Excellent communication skills both oral and written with delegation abilities
- 7Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional discretion
- 8Team player capable of working with diverse partners throughout project lifecycle
- 9US citizenship required
- 10Eligibility for Military Base Access Security Clearance
- 11Valid driver's license complying with CLP fleet policy
