Assistant Superintendent Construction Management

Lead field construction activities for FCL Builders to ensure projects finish safely on schedule within budget. This role involves coordinating subcontractors supporting daily operations and developing leadership skills. Unique opportunity to shape career growth within ESOP program.
What You'll Do11
- 1Review owner contracts drawings and specifications
- 2Complete project startup tasks and coordinate with PM and Engineer
- 3Document site conditions before work begins
- 4Maintain site logistics plans and coordinate with municipalities
- 5Support SWPPP and compliance documentation
- 6Advise PM on schedule impacting issues
- 7Track progress costs and maintain daily reports
- 8Identify and resolve site issues with next steps
- 9Establish relationships with owners and subcontractors
- 10Chair weekly construction meetings and meet daily with subcontractors
- 11Serve as proactive problem solver with management team
Requirements10
- 1High School Diploma or GED
- 2Minimum 5 years project supervision in industrial or commercial construction
- 3Extensive knowledge of scheduling cost control and safety procedures
- 4Strong communication skills for stakeholder interactions
- 5Willingness to travel as needed
- 6OSHA 30-Hour Certification
- 7Proficiency in Microsoft Project
- 8Physical ability to lift 50 lbs
- 9Experience working in various weather conditions
- 10Ability to sit stand kneel squat walk and drive
Salary Insight
$60 - $105k per year
