What You'll Do8

  • 1Own end-to-end delivery of the CMS FFSDCS platform, from scope definition to production release.
  • 2Lead an Agile team through sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives to maintain velocity.
  • 3Drive schedule management, tracking milestones and adjusting resources to meet federal deadlines.
  • 4Control budget, monitoring costs and forecasting spend for the full contract lifecycle.
  • 5Ensure quality by defining acceptance criteria and coordinating UAT with stakeholders.
  • 6Staff the project, onboarding developers, testers, and analysts while managing team capacity.
  • 7Report progress to CMS leadership, translating technical status into executive summaries.
  • 8Remove blockers across data integration, security, and compliance for the four provider groups.

Requirements7

  • 15+ years managing government or healthcare IT projects, with CMS experience preferred.
  • 23+ years leading Agile teams using Scrum or SAFe methodologies.
  • 3Strong knowledge of Medicare fee-for-service data reporting requirements.
  • 4Experience with data collection systems or large-scale relational databases.
  • 5PMP or PMI-ACP certification required.
  • 6Excellent stakeholder communication, bridging technical and non-technical audiences.
  • 7Ability to work onsite in Washington, DC for the contract duration.
