Project Manager, Architecture & Public Works - San Francisco
Overview
Lead architecture projects for a San Francisco studio delivering water, power, public works, and transportation solutions. Own design through construction with multidisciplinary teams and primary client contact duties. Drive project outcomes with strong communication and design leadership. What You'll Do7
- 1Build and manage small to mid-sized architectural projects through design and construction phases.
- 2Oversee scope, schedule, budget, staffing, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
- 3Serve as the primary client contact, fostering relationships through meetings and reporting.
- 4Lead and mentor Project Architects Designers and consultant teams to deliver coordinated design solutions.
- 5Monitor financial performance including budgets labor utilization invoicing and change management.
- 6Develop thoughtful visually compelling technically sound designs for public-sector clients.
- 7Ensure projects meet quality standards regulatory requirements and client expectations.
Requirements5
- 18+ years architectural experience in a small to mid-sized firm or studio environment
- 2Experience managing technical project types including Industrial facilities Civic and public works projects Commercial buildings Administrative and operations facilities Laboratories Maintenance facilities Transportation infrastructure projects
- 3Bachelor and/or Master’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited program
- 4Proficiency with Revit Bluebeam Deltek Microsoft Office and related design project management software
- 5LEED Accreditation preferred but not required
Salary Insight
$110 - $128k per year
