What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and manage environmental projects related to regulatory compliance, hazardous waste, water quality, permitting, and reporting to meet client goals
  • 2Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout project lifecycles and ensure client satisfaction
  • 3Oversee project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and overall performance to achieve on‑time, on‑budget outcomes
  • 4Prepare and review technical reports, permit applications, compliance documentation, and regulatory submissions
  • 5Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies to obtain approvals and maintain compliance
  • 6Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff to grow team capabilities
  • 7Manage subcontractors and outside consultants to meet project objectives and quality standards
  • 8Conduct client meetings and develop long‑term business relationships to drive repeat business
  • 9Support proposal development, scope definition, and project planning efforts for new opportunities
  • 10Ensure projects adhere to environmental regulations and company quality standards

Requirements10

  • 1Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field
  • 210+ years of environmental consulting or industry experience
  • 3Proven project management experience overseeing multiple environmental projects simultaneously
  • 4Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and regulatory compliance programs
  • 5Experience with hazardous waste management, water quality compliance and permitting, environmental reporting and regulatory documentation, and permitting processes
  • 6Proven ability to manage clients, staff, and subcontractors
  • 7Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 8Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
  • 9Professional Engineer (PE) license and/or Professional Geologist (PG) license
  • 10Experience managing projects throughout California
