Project Coordinator - Telecom Field Operations
Overview
Coordinate Comcast Business installation projects across multiple sites, serving as the primary liaison between field technicians, dispatch, and management. You will own the end-to-end installation lifecycle from dispatch to technician release, ensuring milestones and quality standards are met. Work onsite in Naperville, IL with 4x10 shifts (Mon-Thu, 7AM-5PM) and receive full benefits including health, dental, and 401K. What You'll Do8
- 1Conduct pre-dispatch readiness reviews and confirmation calls with field technicians to verify arrival times, scope, materials, and access.
- 2Provide real-time operational and technical support to field technicians throughout the installation, using Smartsheet and ILEX for tracking.
- 3Monitor technician progress against project milestones and update project statuses hourly with 98% accuracy in designated Comcast systems.
- 4Validate completion of deliverables, ensuring all documentation, test results, and photos are uploaded within 24 hours to Comcast portals.
- 5Serve as the primary point of contact for day-of-job communications between field personnel, management, customers, and project teams.
- 6Manage material procurement and delivery logistics, creating purchase orders per purchasing policies.
- 7Escalate field operational issues to management for immediate resolution and coordinate with Manager on Duty.
- 8Maintain KPI targets including installation success rates and customer satisfaction scores.
Requirements8
- 11+ years coordinating field service or installation projects, preferably in telecommunications.
- 2Proficiency with Smartsheet and ILEX or equivalent project tracking tools.
- 3Experience managing end-to-end installation workflows from dispatch to completion.
- 4Strong communication skills for real-time support via chat and phone.
- 5Ability to work 4x10 hour shifts (Mon-Thu, 7AM-5PM) and variable schedules including nights and weekends.
- 6High attention to detail for documentation accuracy and compliance.
- 7Proven ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment.
- 8Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
