What You'll Do8
- 1Process sales contracts and closings, ensuring every document reaches the right stakeholder within 24 hours.
- 2Apply for all building permits with local municipalities and track each status in MS Excel.
- 3Document and report permit and start activities weekly to Project Managers.
- 4Coordinate team meetings and events, handling logistics for up to 20 attendees.
- 5Maintain accurate electronic files for each home in JD Edwards and shared drives.
- 6Pay invoices and utility bills, reconciling monthly statements with the accounting team.
- 7Order supplies for the office and job sites, keeping inventory under budget.
- 8Support additional operations tasks during peak build seasons.
Requirements8
- 12+ years in residential construction or permitting, with home builder experience a plus.
- 2Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook for daily reporting and communication.
- 3Exposure to JD Edwards for homebuilding operations is beneficial.
- 4Self-motivated, with a track record of working independently and within a team.
- 5Proven time management skills, handling multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- 6Strong follow-up and organizational skills, with high attention to detail.
- 7Comfortable making phone calls to vendors, subcontractors, and municipalities.
