Project Coordinator Data Center Construction
Overview
Turner & Townsend seeks a Project Coordinator to support project management services for clients. This role involves assisting the Project Manager ensure quality efficient timely delivery. The ideal candidate will establish governance processes share information maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and contribute to reporting and proposal development.
What You'll Do12
- 1Assist the Project Manager in ensuring the project is managed to the right quality standards and completed efficiently and on time
- 2Establish effective project governance processes and systems for use throughout the project
- 3Ensure key information and data is effectively shared and appropriately retained
- 4Build and maintain strong relationships with the client and team members
- 5Interface with multiple stakeholders including executive management project team members consultants and vendors
- 6Assist with the flow of project information between team members and stakeholders
- 7Attend relevant meetings update and maintain issues actions logs as current
- 8Develop detailed project plans attend status meetings and follow up with team members on completion status
- 9Close out open items and prepare various reports for multiple audiences including formal project management reports executive dashboards and other reporting requirements
- 10Contribute to monthly reporting on various aspects of the Client`s program
- 11Prepare proposals for new projects or variations to existing projects
- 12Adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable
Requirements8
- 1Minimum of three years professional experience in project controls or administration
- 2BA/BS in Business Construction Architecture or related field
- 3Strong collaboration and relationship building skills
- 4Excellent communication and presentation skills
- 5Problem solving mindset
- 6Expertise in Microsoft and Google Suite especially Excel Corporate Interiors
- 7Tenant improvement experience is a plus
- 8On-site presence required in Washington DC
