Project Administrator - Waterworks Construction
Overview
You will own on-site administrative operations for a waterworks construction project in Houston, Texas, supporting a team of engineers and project managers. You will handle document creation, data entry, new hire processing, and supply orders, using MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook. What You'll Do8
- 1Create project documents, spreadsheets, and email responses using MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
- 2Manage bi-weekly overnight package distribution to and from the regional office.
- 3Order safety supplies and office supplies, ensuring job site readiness.
- 4Process new hires on-site, including paperwork and orientation coordination.
- 5Answer the job trailer phone, route calls, take messages, and relay information to the team.
- 6Enter daily production figures into the project database.
- 7Maintain common work areas, including meeting rooms and break rooms, to a professional standard.
- 8Write project reports, business correspondence, and other documents as needed.
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or GED.
- 21-3 months of related experience or training.
- 3Verbal and written communication skills in English.
- 4Moderate to high computer proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
- 5Ability to perform basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals.
- 6Valid driver license for occasional required travel.
- 7Ability to compute ratios, percentages, and interpret bar graphs.
