Overview
Pivotal supports young people in foster care to achieve educational and career goals. The role oversees internship program leadership, develops training curricula, manages recruitment, and ensures compliance with agency requirements. This position drives program implementation and fosters stakeholder collaboration.
What You'll Do11
- 1Lead planning and development of intern coaching program aligned with organizational goals
- 2Coordinate daily operations and cross-program initiatives with Pivotal staff
- 3Create and deliver annual intern training manual and curriculum
- 4Monitor program metrics and provide data-driven impact analysis
- 5Manage recruitment process from January to June and oversee onboarding
- 6Provide training and supervision to BASW and MSW interns
- 7Facilitate supervision sessions and support professional relationship building
- 8Review documentation and address performance concerns proactively
- 9Act as liaison with university and external partners
- 10Represent Pivotal at meetings and represent interns in stakeholder discussions
- 11Coordinate training logistics and maintain compliance with reporting standards
Requirements8
- 1Master's degree in Social Work with two years post-graduation experience
- 2Expertise in foster care system and educational equity principles
- 3Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- 4Experience with data-driven practice and program evaluation
- 5Knowledge of high school and post-secondary education systems
- 6Familiarity with special education frameworks
- 7Ability to build relationships with diverse scholar populations
- 8Demonstrated leadership in staff development and program administration
