Program Manager Digital Transformation
Overview
Lead a 12-month digital transformation program for a client in New Castle, DE, owning end-to-end delivery across strategy, execution, and governance. You will manage cross-functional teams, drive executive stakeholder alignment, and ensure outcomes align with customer experience goals. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on project management, using Agile, SAFe, and IBM Design Thinking. You will own budgets, vendor relationships, and RAID governance to deliver measurable results. What You'll Do8
- 1Own program delivery for a large-scale digital transformation, managing integrated planning, milestones, dependencies, and RAID items.
- 2Partner with senior business and technology leaders to drive strategic decisions, manage escalations, and deliver executive-level reporting.
- 3Manage program budgets, forecasts, resource capacity, and vendor relationships, ensuring cost control and SOW compliance.
- 4Facilitate PI Planning, release management, and steering committee governance to track delivery progress.
- 5Apply Agile, SAFe, and DevOps methodologies to guide teams through iterative delivery cycles.
- 6Build and maintain project governance models, including risk and issue management, to ensure transparency and accountability.
- 7Drive continuous improvement by analyzing delivery metrics and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- 8Communicate project status, risks, and successes to diverse stakeholders, adapting style to audience.
Requirements8
- 15+ years leading large-scale, cross-functional transformation programs with end-to-end delivery accountability.
- 2Proven experience with Agile and SAFe delivery, including facilitating PI Planning and release management.
- 3Track record of managing program budgets, forecasts, and resource capacity planning.
- 4Experience with vendor governance, including SOW management and cost control.
- 5Strong executive stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive decisions and manage escalations.
- 6Experience using IBM Design Thinking or similar customer-centric design methodologies.
- 7Familiarity with DevOps, Scrum, and SDLC frameworks.
- 8Excellent verbal and written English communication skills for diverse audiences.
