Overview
Program Director at Urban Upbound leads program operations and reports to Chief of Staff. What You'll Do11
- 1Provide overall staff and program management oversight
- 2Modify existing program components in response to emerging community needs
- 3Develop strong relationships with community stakeholders including residents associations nyc hfa and property management
- 4Hire and train all necessary staff
- 5Create monthly goals for all staff relating to program
- 6Handle all contractual matters and ensure program goals are met
- 7Liaise with partner agencies
- 8Manage budgets relating to program in collaboration with executive management team
- 9Evaluate programs quantitatively and develop modifications based on emerging needs
- 10Directly supervise the assistant director
- 11Other duties as assigned
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor degree required Master's preferred
- 2Successful implementation of similar program for minimum 5 years preferably on performance-based contract
- 3Prior experience with program start-up operations
- 4Ability to multi-task and work well as part of a team
- 5Experience in public-private partnerships
- 6Experience overseeing program evaluation and outcome management
- 7Enthusiasm and experience working in community-based settings
- 8In-depth knowledge of public housing workforce development and public benefits
- 9Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills
- 10Good sense of humor flexibility and comfort in leadership role
Salary Insight
$80 - $85k per year
