Program Director Electrical Engineering
Overview
Lead and oversee all aspects of program management and administration for electrical engineering initiatives. Establish and maintain a conducive learning environment while ensuring compliance with accreditation standards. Partner with faculty to develop curricula and drive continuous improvement in instruction. Manage clinical placements and student progression to enhance program outcomes.
What You'll Do11
- 1Establish and maintain a conducive learning environment for students and faculty
- 2Identify hire and train qualified faculty members
- 3Monitor integration of Ancora Education Learning Philosophy into daily instruction
- 4Partner with Director of Education to lead faculty development efforts
- 5Provide timely mentoring observations and feedback to faculty
- 6Maintain course schedules and assign faculty workloads according to policies
- 7Ensure ongoing compliance with accreditation standards
- 8Coordinate clinical external experiences and build relationships with partner entities
- 9Advise students on academic performance and program progression
- 10Evaluate program outcomes and implement improvement strategies
- 11Maintain curriculum aligned with company state and accreditor standards
Requirements10
- 1Certification or higher degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution
- 2Current valid licensure where applicable
- 3One year management experience
- 4Understanding of adult learning principles and collaboration with diverse groups
- 5Strong written oral and interpersonal communication skills
- 6Ability to drive travel to extern/clinical/job sites
- 7Experience with curriculum writing
- 8Three years of management experience
- 9Physical stamina to stand walk and lift up to 25 pounds
- 10Specific vision abilities including close distance and color vision
