What You'll Do10

  • 1Build trusting relationships with students through daily check ins and one on one meetings to support academic social or personal challenges
  • 2Lead small group discussions and restorative conversations to promote goal setting and self regulation
  • 3Drive behavior management using PBIS and CASE framework with trauma informed approaches and data informed decisions
  • 4Collaborate with teachers and administrators to create individualized behavior support plans for students with recurring needs
  • 5Monitor behavior data trends and communicate findings to the team to inform interventions
  • 6Engage families with proactive outreach and coordinate with school counselors social workers and community resources
  • 7Support scheduling materials preparation and logistics for student programs and events
  • 8Document student progress and behavior in school information systems and generate brief engagement reports
  • 9Provide a safe welcoming space during transitions and school day activities to foster belonging
  • 10Support student success and school operations through additional duties as assigned

Requirements5

  • 1Bachelor's degree
  • 2Experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting preferred
  • 3Strong communication skills with families and school staff
  • 4Ability to manage transitions and de escalate conflicts in a trauma informed manner
  • 5Commitment to inclusive education and positive school climate
