Production Support Engineer, Treasury Applications & Monitoring
Overview
Own production support for a bank treasury portfolio at scale in a hybrid, onsite environment. The role emphasizes monitoring and triage across critical applications with a focus on resolving incidents quickly and maintaining high availability. You will work with Dynatrace and Splunk to detect issues and drive resolution alongside a technical operations team. This contract position offers learning opportunities in application support processes and domain knowledge.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build and sustain incident response for treasury applications with rapid restoration of service
- 2Monitor production health using Dynatrace and Splunk and proactively identify risks
- 3Coordinate with cross functional teams to diagnose root causes and implement temporary and permanent fixes
- 4Own change coordination and release readiness for bug fixes and small enhancements
- 5Scale monitoring and support processes to reduce MTTR and improve customer impact visibility
- 6Drive documentation and runbooks to improve onboarding and incident handling
- 7Ship timely status updates to stakeholders and provide post incident reviews
- 8Design and implement improvements to monitoring dashboards and alerting rules
Requirements5
- 13-5 months experience in production or application support for financial applications
- 2Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace or Splunk
- 3Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills
- 4Understanding of treasury related workflows or banking applications is a plus
- 5W2 eligible candidate in the United States, on site in Charlotte, NC
