Production Operator - Vantedge Medical SPM
Overview
We seek a Production Operator to manage daily operations in our Chicago facility. This role involves loading unloading parts operating equipment and maintaining quality standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborative teamwork. You will contribute to manufacturing vital medical components while growing your technical expertise.
What You'll Do9
- 1Load and unload parts into rotating machinery during weekday shifts
- 2Perform finishing activities using grinding tools and polishing equipment
- 3Fine-tune piece processing with manual cutting tools and sanders
- 4Count machined parts and clean or process parts as needed
- 5Operate a grit sandblasting machine under training
- 6Follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures
- 7Maintain equipment and ensure adherence to production schedules
- 8Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve manufacturing challenges
- 9Assist in weekend shifts as required by operational demands
Requirements9
- 15+ years of machine operation experience
- 2Certifications such as CPC Card or BCBA preferred
- 3Ability to lift 15 pounds regularly
- 4Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- 5Excellent ability to read English and follow SOPs
- 6Experience with basic math for part counting
- 7Willingness to learn new equipment and processes
- 8Commitment to safety and quality control standards
- 9Team player with cooperative attitude
