Production Associate, Medical Device Manufacturing
Overview
You will own the fabrication, cutting, inspection, and shipping of The Safety Sleeper®, a medical-grade enclosed bed system for special needs children. You'll join a family-owned team in Gibsonia, PA, working across production stations to build products that make a global impact. With 0-1 year of experience required, this role offers hands-on training in a purpose-driven environment.
What You'll Do8
- 1Receive, unbox, and stock inventory between the warehouse and production floor.
- 2Operate a forklift to move materials and finished goods.
- 3Cut, bend, and drill aluminum to fabricate frames for The Safety Sleeper.
- 4Assemble and disassemble parts for inspection, upholding quality standards.
- 5Communicate inspection results of non-conforming products to management.
- 6Operate CNC machine and heat press for component production.
- 7Package and ship completed products to families worldwide.
- 8Perform additional duties to support production flow.
Requirements8
- 10-1 year in product inspection or shipping.
- 2Previous forklift operation experience preferred.
- 3Strong math skills for measurements and counts.
- 4Technical skills: operating band saw, drill press, hand drill, manual pipe bender, rivet setter, or rotary fabric cutter.
- 5Experience with Cricut or other computer-controlled cutting machines is a plus.
- 6Working knowledge of medical device industry is a plus.
- 7Experience with Google Workspace is a plus.
- 8ERP system experience is a plus.
Salary Insight
