Production Associate 1, Warehouse Manufacturing
Overview
You will own the assembly and movement of window components in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Using RF scanning equipment, you ensure inventory accuracy and timely processing. You will collaborate with Picking Operators and cross-train across multiple workstations. This role offers Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance starting day one.
What You'll Do10
- 1Wear mandatory PPE including Safety Glasses, Ear Plugs, Steel Toe Shoes, Safety Vest, Hard Hat, and Full-body Safety Harness.
- 2Use RF scanning equipment to track and verify inventory accuracy throughout production.
- 3Move carts in and out of production work areas to maintain workflow.
- 4Load window sash components for processing insulated glass units.
- 5Assemble vinyl grids for placement within insulated glass units.
- 6Scan and process materials accurately and timely to meet customer delivery schedules.
- 7Adhere to quality and customer service standards set by the company.
- 8Utilize production reports to assist in daily production planning.
- 9Collaborate with Picking Operator throughout the assigned shift to coordinate tasks.
- 10Identify and report safety hazards in the workplace immediately.
Requirements11
- 11-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 2Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for entire shift.
- 3Willingness to cross-train and rotate on various workstations within the line/complex.
- 4Ability to measure lengths accurately to 1/32 inch.
- 5Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- 6Ability to convert fractions to decimals.
- 7Ability to read and interpret statistical data, productivity reports, and written instructions.
- 8Capable of using computerized equipment and RF scanners.
- 9Ability to work at elevated heights up to 20 feet using order picker equipment.
- 10Frequent exposure to loud noises, and no fear of elevated heights.
- 11Ability to read and write in English (numbers, locations, short phrases).
