Manufacturing Production Worker
Overview
We seek dependable detail-oriented workers to support manufacturing operations. This role involves production assembly material handling inspection and equipment support following instructions and safety standards. What You'll Do10
- 1Oversee Hegla Galatic fully automated glass cutting equipment to cut glass lites for IGUs and windows
- 2Complete manual glass separation of discrete glass sheets from mother sheet
- 3Load glass carts and stage for sequencing in production
- 4Inspect incoming glass and completed IGUs for defects
- 5Operate lift assist equipment to pick up IGUs weighing up to 50 pounds
- 6Work closely with supervisors and engineering to detect defects and process challenges
- 7Build crates to store IGUs for shipping and stage completed parts for freight pickup
- 8Prepare finished products for shipment according to packaging instructions
- 9Conduct operator maintenance and cleanliness of production equipment
- 10Attend fork truck training and obtain certification
Requirements10
- 1HS diploma or GED required
- 2Technology AAS degree desired
- 3Prior experience in manufacturing production assembly warehouse or industrial environments
- 4Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- 5Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- 6Teamwork orientation
- 7Forklift operation experience
- 8Knowledge of suction cups for moving large glass pieces
- 9Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- 10Experience with manual glass separation processes
