Machine Operator I Production Associate
Overview
Machine Operator I oversees foundational production tasks ensuring quality safety and cleanliness under supervision. Responsibilities include operating equipment assembling packaging applying labels and maintaining organized workspaces.
What You'll Do10
- 1Perform foundational production tasks including grinding weighing mixing and staging raw materials according to instructions and safety guidelines
- 2Operate assigned production equipment such as grinders mixers fillers conveyors and packaging systems under supervision
- 3Assemble packaging materials apply labels and safely stack finished goods onto pallets
- 4Visually inspect products during assigned tasks to ensure they meet basic quality standards and promptly report defects
- 5Maintain cleanliness and organization of production areas workstations and common areas
- 6Participate in routine cleaning wash-downs and basic housekeeping tasks at the end of shifts
- 7Follow daily production schedules and meet assigned output expectations while maintaining quality and safety
- 8Comply with all company policies safety procedures PPE requirements and training expectations
- 9Work collaboratively with team members and follow instructions from supervisors and experienced operators
- 10Perform other related duties as assigned to support production and plant operations
Requirements11
- 1High school diploma or GED required
- 2Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- 3Willingness to learn manufacturing equipment and processes
- 4Basic attention to detail and commitment to quality
- 5Physical stamina to stand walk sit bend stoop kneel and move throughout the facility
- 6Strong manual dexterity to handle objects with hands and fingers
- 7Ability to lift weigh up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
- 8Specific vision abilities including close distance peripheral depth perception and focus adjustment
- 9Understanding of safety hazards and ability to respond appropriately to emergencies
- 10Experience with Spark Airflow and other relevant manufacturing tools
- 11Commitment to teamwork and safe work practices
