Machine Operator
Overview
Performs diverse and complex assignments supporting product development and manufacturing. Owns manufacturing assembly advanced testing reporting documentation packaging shipping with limited supervision. Differentiate by collaborating with team leads engineers supervisors and managers to improve quality and process efficiency.
What You'll Do10
- 1Reads and follows work procedures and schematics or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed with limited supervision
- 2Maintains accurate records of the work performed and other records as may be required by management
- 3Performs manufacturing assembly operations on multiple product lines and various tasks following procedures bills of materials work instructions and process aid sheets with limited supervision
- 4Maintains daily production output
- 5May participate in quality control inspections when required
- 6Works with team lead engineers supervisors and managers to improve quality and process efficiency
- 7Provides strong manufacturing support on the development and prove out of new products methods tools and test equipment
- 8Sets up equipment and performs related first piece inspection to ensure desired quality levels
- 9Performs ongoing quality checks records requested data and timely reports discrepancies
- 10Monitors machine and process variables takes corrective action as required and promptly reports conditions negatively impacting quality output or equipment performance
Requirements11
- 1High School Diploma or local equivalent
- 2Ability to learn packaging and small part assembly
- 3Proficient with computer programs like Microsoft Word Excel
- 4Demonstrated attention to detail and quality-minded work habits
- 5Demonstrated ability to learn multiple product lines
- 6Ability to communicate using English (or local language)
- 7Ability to handle small delicate parts lamination bonding layers utilizing epoxy
- 8Ability to multi-task and handle tooling weighing 25 lbs or less
- 9Ability to comfortably use chemicals such as IPA Acetone & Epoxies
- 10Ability to operate comfortably using microscope to perform job related tasks
- 11Ability to perform detail-oriented work and complete projects on time
