What You'll Do11
- 1Build custom steel rule tooling using job specifications and manufacturing drawings
- 2Produce printing plates with specialized production equipment
- 3Position and mount printing plates according to individual customer requirements
- 4Finish and prepare completed plates for production
- 5Create proofs and check completed work for accuracy
- 6Use tape measures and other measuring tools to verify dimensions
- 7Set up and operate equipment used throughout the manufacturing process
- 8Inspect products before they move to the next stage of production
- 9Identify quality issues and work with team members to correct problems
- 10Follow established safety and production procedures
- 11Maintain an organized and safe work area

- 1Previous manufacturing experience can be helpful but is not required
