Overview
Lead daily plant operations for a woodworking and cabinet-making facility with a focus on delivering high-quality products on schedule. What You'll Do9
- 1Lead daily operations and manage production scheduling to meet deadlines
- 2Maintain factory equipment and company vehicles to minimize downtime
- 3Produce daily cut lists and forecast production requirements
- 4Enforce quality assurance standards across all products and processes
- 5Interact with sales staff to review designs and confirm feasibility and cost targets
- 6Oversee hiring and supervising shop staff, providing hands-on leadership to drive quality and efficiency
- 7Manage inventory levels to balance demand with production capacity
- 8Ensure safety compliance and housekeeping to maintain a productive environment
- 9Plan and execute cost-efficient production runs while meeting customer timelines
Requirements5
- 1Prior supervisory experience with hiring responsibilities
- 2Experience in woodworking or cabinet-making fields (32mm systems a plus)
- 3Excellent problem-solving skills able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- 4Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and quality control
- 5Ability to interact with sales to review designs and translate to feasible production plans
