General Manager, Millwork & Production Leadership
Overview
Cabinetry leadership role overseeing millwork production for high-quality projects in Dallas area. Owns shop floor operations, planning, and safety. Leads drafting coordination, material planning, and production scheduling to meet project timelines. This role requires hands-on expertise in cabinetry and a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency. You will drive process improvements that differentiate our client service and craft.
What You'll Do10
- 1Lead daily shop operations to align production with project schedules and quality standards
- 2Read and interpret plans, specs, and shop drawings to steer fabrication and installation
- 3Assign drawings to Draftsman and review outputs before production
- 4Design cabinets for custom jobs and apartments to meet spec and client needs
- 5Monitor material availability, approve material orders, and schedule local installers
- 6Field measure local custom jobs and track job progress in the shop
- 7Review and code invoices and manage job costing and administrative tasks
- 8Use Cabinet Vision and web tools to organize, track, and communicate project data
- 9Ensure daily cabinetry production efficiency and safety compliance on the shop floor
- 10Enforce OSHA safety rules and complete safety checklists with staff
Requirements10
- 1Minimum of 3 years of cabinetry or equivalent field experience
- 2Knowledge of cabinetry materials, construction, and installation processes
- 3Proficiency in Cabinet Vision
- 4Strong judgement and decision-making skills
- 5Familiar with safety features on equipment and machinery
- 6Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
- 7Ability to stand and walk or sit as needed
- 8High school diploma or equivalent
- 9Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities
- 10Excellent communication and coordination skills
