Overview
Own technical execution for Millex's engineering team, guiding design, release, and process engineering for wood and stone hotel products. You lead daily priorities, answer technical questions, and ensure engineering outputs are manufacturable and production-ready. You bridge remote engineering resources and U.S. operations, balancing manufacturability, cost, and schedule. What You'll Do8
- 1Serve as the primary technical authority, answering all engineering questions and guiding daily priorities for the team.
- 2Review and approve engineering drawings prior to release, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- 3Interpret architectural, interior design, and client drawings to deliver production-ready designs.
- 4Coordinate engineering workloads and release schedules to meet production and procurement deadlines.
- 5Guide engineering decisions that balance manufacturability, cost, and schedule.
- 6Optimize CNC machining workflows and material utilization using CutRite and WoodWOP.
- 7Drive complete and accurate engineering releases, including BOMs and routing definitions.
- 8Act as liaison between remote engineering resources and U.S. operations, resolving design issues in real time.
Requirements7
- 15+ years in manufacturing engineering with a focus on cabinetry, millwork, or furniture.
- 2Proficiency in SolidWorks for 2D/3D cabinet and furniture design.
- 3Hands-on experience with CNC workflows, including CutRite and WoodWOP.
- 4Bonus if you have proficiency in sWood.
- 5Strong ability to interpret architectural and client drawings.
- 6Proven experience leading technical teams and coordinating engineering schedules.
- 7Deep understanding of design for manufacturability (DFM) principles in wood manufacturing.
Salary Insight
