Producer Part Time
Overview
We seek a motivated individual to lead our Produce Department at Fresh Thyme Market. You will own customer interactions and drive sales while maintaining a clean and safe environment. This role offers flexible scheduling and competitive pay.
What You'll Do11
- 1Ensures cleanliness of produce department, floral area, storage area, and work area for safety
- 2Stocks produce/floral department; includes presentation and rotation of product
- 3Responds positively to customer inquiries and assists with purchases
- 4Receives, inspects, and logs products for accuracy of shipment
- 5Monitors point of purchase signs and displays promotional materials
- 6Operates equipment such as knives, scales, and pallet jacks
- 7Participates in pre-inventory preparation and back stocking
- 8Runs the cut fruit and vegetable program
- 9Takes responsibility for sales and profitability in the department
- 10Sustains high level of product knowledge and preparation
- 11Walks department regularly to ensure organized appearance
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or equivalency degree
- 2Preferred 1-2 years grocery retail experience in floral department
- 3Previous experience in natural foods industry
- 4Must maintain highest level of customer service
- 5Ability to adapt to high volume retail environment
