What You'll Do11
- 1Maintain strong professional relationships and communicate effectively with overseas suppliers and company management
- 2Coordinate with logistics to bring products into distribution warehouses or direct import to customer distribution centers
- 3Negotiate with a wide variety of vendors on a daily basis
- 4Support cross functional teams such as Sales Department Logistics Operations A/P
- 5Coordinate sample evaluations label and material compliance and other related administrative work
- 6Create demand and inventory forecasts based on seasonal and annual sales trends
- 7Communicate effectively with management on purchasing requirements and create purchase orders as needed
- 8QC and evaluate all product specifications and details to company standards
- 9Update inventory and pricing as needed
- 10Track inventory in all warehouse locations
- 11Assist with freight and transportation arrangement as needed
Requirements9
- 1Must be bilingual in Mandarin reading writing and speaking
- 21+ years of experience as a buyer or purchasing role
- 3Experience in supply chain management
- 4Experience working with forwarder and freight companies
- 5Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- 6Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Applications with a strong emphasis on Excel
- 7Strong attention to detail and highly organized
- 8Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- 9Experience with Sage100 is a plus
