Private Equity & Venture Capital - Finance Domain Expert | $110-$150/hr Remote
Overview
A senior finance professional will join a top AI lab to shape how frontier models reason about real financial work. You’ll craft instruction specs, define gold-standard solutions, and build benchmarks that show genuine model improvement. This is a hands-on, domain-focused role that values deep expertise over breadth and offers a path to work alongside leading researchers. Location is Bay Area based with on-site collaboration a few days each week.
What You'll Do4
- 1Assess and validate the quality of finance related outputs and tasks produced by the model, identifying gaps in reasoning and unsupported conclusions
- 2Create precise instruction guidelines and gold solutions that reflect real-world financial practices
- 3Develop and curate challenging finance oriented benchmarks and datasets to probe model capabilities
- 4Collaborate with researchers and subject matter experts to align standards and translate complex financial judgment into teachable criteria
Requirements6
- 1More than 5 years of professional finance experience at a recognized institution such as investment banks, asset managers, PE or credit funds, Big Four, or large corporate finance teams
- 2Deep expertise in at least one core finance area such as corporate finance and FP&A, M&A, asset management, private equity, risk management, treasury, or accounting
- 3Demonstrated senior individual contributor or leadership track record with ownership of analysis and decisions
- 4Advanced degree in finance, economics, accounting or quantitative field and/or professional credentials such as CFA, CPA, FRM
- 5Hands-on experience with large language models in a professional setting and solid judgment to distinguish strong reasoning from plausible seeming inaccuracies
- 6Ability to commit to 40 hours per week for an initial period and to work on-site in the Bay Area as required

Salary Insight
