Overview
Join Medix as a Board-Certified Family Medicine physician delivering hybrid primary care across Massachusetts. You will lead patient panels of 1,500 individuals while collaborating with NPs PAs nurses and support staff. This full-time hybrid role offers one remote administrative day weekly and competitive compensation.
What You'll Do11
- 1Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care across the lifespan
- 2Diagnose treat acute and chronic conditions
- 3Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe medications
- 4Deliver preventive care and wellness counseling
- 5Manage a patient panel of approximately 1,500 patients
- 6Coordinate care with specialists and multidisciplinary teams
- 7Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation using Epic
- 8Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocols
- 9Share rotating call coverage approximately 1-2 weeks per quarter
- 10Attend one evening clinic each week until 7 PM and occasional Saturday coverage
- 11Lead team efforts to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements10
- 1MD or DO completing Family Medicine Internal Medicine or Pediatrics residency
- 2Board Certified or Board Eligible status
- 3Active Massachusetts Medical License
- 4Current DEA Registration
- 5Experience with Epic EMR preferred
- 6Passion for serving culturally diverse underserved patient populations
- 7Bilingual proficiency in Spanish Portuguese or Haitian Creole
- 8Community Health Center or Patient-Centered Medical Home experience
- 9Background check clearance
- 10Ability to work flexible hybrid schedule with one remote day weekly
