Overview
PowerBuilder Software Architect to support application and database components of the Wadsworth ELAP program. Collaborate with the program area on design reviews. Analyze existing data sets and applications to drive improvements. This role offers a 30-month contract with a hybrid schedule, 50% onsite in Albany, NY.
What You'll Do8
- 1Participate in design review sessions with the program area to align architecture with business needs.
- 2Review existing data sets and applications for optimization opportunities.
- 3Design and implement PowerBuilder solutions for the ELAP program.
- 4Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and performance.
- 5Develop technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
- 6Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- 7Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in production.
- 8Coordinate with database administrators to optimize SQL queries and schemas.
Requirements6
- 15+ years experience as a PowerBuilder architect or developer.
- 23+ years experience with SQL and relational databases.
- 3Experience with PowerBuilder 2019 or later versions.
- 4Strong understanding of .NET integration and web services.
- 5Knowledge of Wadsworth ELAP program domain is a plus.
- 6Must have valid ID and three professional references.
