Overview
Lead the design and implementation of robust data architecture for business intelligence and analytics. Build interactive dashboards in Power BI and Tableau that turn raw data into actionable insights. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specs, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security. Own the full data lifecycle from ETL to visualization in an onsite role in San Jose, CA.
What You'll Do7
- 1Design and implement data warehouse architectures supporting BI and analytics, with ETL pipelines feeding Power BI and Tableau.
- 2Build interactive Power BI dashboards and reports delivering actionable insights to business users.
- 3Develop Tableau visualizations that enable self-service analytics and executive decision-making.
- 4Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data models and reporting layers.
- 5Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data sources and BI platforms.
- 6Optimize Power BI dataset performance and Tableau workbook efficiency for large data volumes.
- 7Drive data governance practices by documenting data lineage and defining access controls.
Requirements7
- 15+ years in data architecture, BI development, and ETL design.
- 2Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (DAX, Power Query, row-level security).
- 3Strong proficiency in Tableau (desktop, server, data prep).
- 4Deep knowledge of data warehousing concepts like star schemas and data marts.
- 5Proven ability to translate business needs into scalable technical data solutions.
- 6Experience with data quality, integrity, and security practices in BI environments.
- 7Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration and requirement gathering.
