Overview

What You'll Do5
- 1Lead independent research projects to uncover novel pathogenic mechanisms in chronic fibrotic liver disease
- 2Utilize Gilead’s single‑cell and spatial transcriptomic datasets along with clinical data to identify fibrotic niche expansion drivers
- 3Apply mouse genetic and pharmacology approaches to build ex vivo models for target identification and screening
- 4Design and execute in vitro and in vivo experiments to advance studies toward publication
- 5Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to leverage world‑class facilities and cross‑functional expertise
Requirements5
- 1Ph.D. in biochemistry molecular biology immunology or related field with at least one first author paper
- 2Proficiency in mammalian cell biology and biochemistry techniques
- 3Strong written verbal and interpersonal communication skills with excellent organization
- 4Broad hands‑on expertise in cell biology molecular biology and imaging techniques including microscopy flow cytometry and immunoassays
- 5Experience with mouse models disease handling tissue harvesting and CRISPR/Cas9
