You'll handle groundskeeping, custodial work, and light maintenance while partnering directly with the maintenance team and community staff. What You'll Do9
- 1Walk and inspect the community daily to ensure it meets HSL standards for cleanliness and order
- 2Remove litter, trash, debris, and pet droppings from all grounds and common areas
- 3Keep dumpster doors closed on windy days and maintain storage areas
- 4Perform trash-out duties at vacated apartments, including moving heavy items like appliances
- 5Tear down fences, dig post holes, and remove signs as directed
- 6Paint interior and exterior surfaces and transport paint buckets
- 7Clean and maintain the pool, laundry room, leasing office, pet areas, and recreation spaces
- 8Keep parking lots, walkways, and drives free of debris and in good condition
- 9Support the maintenance team with physical and safety-related tasks as assigned
Requirements9
- 1One year related experience in a physically demanding position or training
- 2Ability to meet all physical requirements including heavy lifting and carrying
- 3Schedule includes weekends within a 40-hour flexible work week
- 4Fluency in English for verbal and written communication
- 5Reliable transportation for business-related tasks
- 6Pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
- 7Hard-working with the ability to multitask and take direction
- 8Self-motivated with a proactive mindset and desire to learn new skills
- 9Positive and professional communication with residents, staff, and vendors
