Overview

What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and design flagship initiatives on trade and investment, health moonshots, and procurement reform in collaboration with policy and program teams
  • 2Draft white papers, briefing memos, and analyses for State Department and Congress to inform policy decisions
  • 3Support partnerships and external events to convert ideas into high-impact programs with external stakeholders
  • 4Provide policy guidance and briefings to policymakers at the State Department, White House, and congressional staff as needed
  • 5Represent The New Foreign Assistance in consultations and coalition groups to build bipartisan support
  • 6Coordinate research and present findings to internal and external audiences via presentations and op-eds
  • 7Support executive leadership in board meeting preparation and strategic planning with data and insights
  • 8Socialize research through social media, briefings, and op-eds to broaden reach
  • 9Assist in resilience of operations and program management across tasks in a fast moving environment

  • 4Strong writing and communication skills with a track record of clear, persuasive materials for policymakers
  • 5Experience with AI tools to support analysis and reporting encouraged
  • 6Willingness to travel regionally and internationally up to 10% as needed
  • 7Ability to balance speed with strategic impact and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • 8Comfort working with reform-minded colleagues across political lines in a bipartisan setting
  • 9Resilience to work in a fast-moving, small team environment with tight timelines
