What You'll Do10
- 1Build comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health and substance use disorders
- 2Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans with patients and families
- 3Provide psychopharmacological evaluation and medication management, including prescribing psychotropic medications
- 4Utilize therapeutic communication to deliver psychotherapy across the lifespan
- 5Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs to support diagnosis and treatment
- 6Maintain accurate, confidential EMRs in compliance with state and federal regulations
- 7Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other care team members
- 8Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, and mental health wellness
- 9Participate in case conferences, clinical supervision, and continuing education to uphold care standards
- 10Support a hybrid on-site requirement with weekly in-person presence and remote flexibility
Requirements8
- 1Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- 2Active and unrestricted NP license
- 3Active DEA registration
- 4Active Medicaid & Medicare provider status
- 5Bilingual in Spanish
- 6Residence in tri-state area
- 7Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
