Playspace Attendant, Childcare & Customer Service
Overview
You will own the daily operations of Little Diggers Playspace, managing front desk admissions and ensuring a safe, clean environment for children and families. You will work with a small team of attendants and report to the management team. This role stands out for its hands-on nature, requiring active monitoring and direct interaction with kids and parents.
What You'll Do10
- 1Greet and welcome visitors with a friendly, positive attitude.
- 2Operate the point-of-sale system to process admissions and handle cash and credit transactions.
- 3Ensure the playspace is clean, organized, and safe for children's play.
- 4Monitor and enforce safety rules and guidelines to maintain a secure environment.
- 5Sweep stray sand and perform general tidying within the playspace.
- 6Clean and sanitize commonly touched surfaces, including the front desk and restrooms.
- 7Assist in preparing party rooms for birthday celebrations, including setup and cleanup.
- 8Assist party hosts and guests during parties to ensure a smooth experience.
- 9Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns professionally and promptly.
- 10Follow emergency procedures and protocols in case of incidents or accidents.
Requirements8
- 1Prior experience in customer service, childcare, or a similar role is a plus.
- 2Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- 3Patience and ability to work with children and parents.
- 4Attention to detail and ability to enforce rules and safety guidelines.
- 5Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
- 6Ability to multitask and handle busy periods with composure.
- 7Physical stamina to stand, walk, and engage in active play for extended periods.
- 8Flexible schedule, including weekends.
